Whether you approach it spiritually or scientifically, many Vastu principles overlap with modern best practices in architecture: maximising natural light from the east and north, ensuring cross-ventilation, keeping the central zone open, and placing heavy structures in the south-west. The benefits are real and measurable regardless of belief.

Always before construction — ideally at the design and drawing stage, before a single foundation is dug. Vastu integration at the design stage costs nothing extra and delivers full compliance without any compromise. Vastu correction after construction is expensive, often partially effective, and sometimes requires breaking walls or relocating rooms. We integrate Vastu into the architectural plan from day one as standard practice.

Yes — but the scope is more limited. For existing apartments, we focus on what can be optimised without structural changes: flat selection within a building (choosing the right direction and floor), internal layout of furniture, kitchen placement if partitions allow, sleeping directions, pooja room location, and Vastu upay (non-structural remedies) such as colours, plants, and crystals for defective zones. Significant structural changes are rarely practical in apartments and are not recommended unless absolutely necessary.

Not when applied thoughtfully. Our approach integrates Vastu principles with modern architectural design — the result is a home that is both Vastu-compliant and aesthetically contemporary. In most cases, Vastu improves the design by encouraging better orientation, natural light, open plan living, and logical room relationships. We never recommend changes that would make a home impractical, ugly, or structurally inefficient.

Yes — this is our key advantage. Most Vastu consultants advise but have no ability to execute. At Balaji Construction, Vastu guidance comes integrated with our full in-house civil construction, structural engineering, and interior fit-out capability. If your Vastu plan requires a partition wall moved, a kitchen relocated, or a new entrance created — we can design it, plan it, and build it, all under one team.

When integrated at the design stage of a new construction project with Balaji, Vastu planning is included as part of our standard design coordination — there is no separate charge. For standalone Vastu consultations on existing properties, or Vastu correction work on completed buildings, pricing depends on the scope of the assessment and any required construction work.
